DIY Baby Pants + Free Pattern

I tried making some pants for my son from some leftover jersey fabric and since they turned out really cute, I decided to share the pattern and the tutorial wiith you. The ones I made fit a 1 to 2 year old so they are a EU size 86-98. As you can see, the waistband and the leg cuffs can be folded, so these pants will fit your baby longer than regular pants do. Just fold the waistaband and the cuffs if the pants are too big, and fold them down when needed.

For this project you will need about 70 cm x 140 cm jesrey fabric , 50 cm ribbing fabric, a sewing machine or overlock, some pins, matching thread and some fabric scissor.
