DIY Minimalistic Wall Art – spring home decor

I really like the clean look a painting/print with a wide white border suggests. Combined with a green leaf printable design it just gives the room a very light and fresh atmosphere.

You can make your own minimalistic wall art under 11 USD/ 10 EUR in a few minutes.

I used the white FISKBO frames from Ikea, 50×70 cm. You can also choose a different colored border, black or silver. I went for the white for a very neat look.

Now you need to decide what to place inside the frames. You can even paint your own designs. Even a few stripes look good when you are going for a minimalistic look.

Another tip is to use high quality photos that you print on an A3 paper. You’ll also need a white blank paper to place behind your print to create the large white border. This is how I made the pink ones. If your image already has a pretty thick white border you can print it directly the size of your frame. Like I did for the leaf print deisgns.

Please keep in mind that all of the designs you find online belong to someone else so only print them for personal use, or ask for permission first. If you want to support the artist you can also buy their prints. There are plenty of etsy shops that sell amazing art. Some of them are sold with their own frame.

You hung your wall art on the white color wall and the background of your picture is also white. It merged with one another and reflects a natural aspect. I loved it so much. Thanks for your suggestions. Can you let me know which accessories I need to use?
