Since there’s not much time left until school starts, I’ve decided to share with you how to make these cute Pencil Cases to always remind you of summer. Although I don’t go to school anymore, I’m a sucker for stationery so I do love me some cute pencil cases and notebooks (Notebooks DIY Video coming up soon). In today’s tutorial I decided to go for a cactus shaped pencil case, a pineapple one and last but not least, a cupcake. Watch the video below for step by step instructions. For this tutorial you’ll need:
Cactus
- green felt
- a short (20cm) green plastic zipper
- zig zag scissors and normal scissors
- a black (fabric) marker
- green thread for the tassel
- a small red pompom
- a sewing machine or a needle and thread
Pineapple
- yellow felt
- green felt
- a short (20cm) plastic zipper
- zig zag scissors and normal scissors
- a sewing machine or a needle and thread
- some beads and string for the zipper detail
- a black (fabric) marker
Cupcake
- pink felt
- brown or beige felt
- a short zipper
- pompoms
- a glue gun
- scissors
- a sewing machine or a needle and thread
