DIY Scrunchies from leftover fabric

If you are also a sewing fanatic you might have lots of fabric scraps laying around. Some are too cute to be thrown away so here’s a quick DIY to upcycle some of those pieces.

Here’s what you’ll need

  • Fabric
  • Elastic Band
  • Fabric Scissors
  • Ruler
  • Pencil
  • Needle & Thread or a Sewing Machine
  1. Cut 10 x 45 cm long pieces of fabric

2. Fold the fabric pieces, pin them, and sew along the longer edge.

3. Turn them right side up and insert the elastic.

4. Fold the edges inwards and sew the gap closed up until the elastic band.
